Cock ScrewGun part from any of the flintlock- type gun-lock plates which would have had a cock to hold the flint, in this case probably a snaphaunce.  The cock screw held the jaws of the cock tight against the flint grips.  Recovered from Causey's Care, a mid-17th-century site in Charles City County.
