Glass Cuff Buttons with iron fastener loops.  Rows of similar buttons are shown on cuffs, pockets, and other areas on clothing of both the pikeman and musketeer in the Jacob de Gheyn  engravings in The Exercise of Armes.  Many buttons of this exact type were recovered from Jordan's Journey, a 17th-century site near Hopewell, Virginia.
