Section—1650-1670. Probably from an English saber. Most of the
blade is missing. The three upper tips approach, but are not attached
to, the pommel.
Recovered from Jordan's Journey near Hopewell in Prince George County. This example was in extremely poor condition when recovered; required extensive conservation; and portions of the basket are reconstructed with wax. |
