The Roanoke Regional Preservation Office region includes the counties of: Alleghany, Bland, Bedford, Botetourt, Buchanan, Carroll, Craig, Dickenson, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Grayson, Henry, Lee, Montgomery, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Roanoke, Rockbridge, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise, and Wythe. Also included are the cities of: Bedford, Bristol, Buena Vista, Clifton Forge, Covington, Danville, Galax, Lexington, Martinsville, Norton, Pulaski, Radford, Roanoke, and Salem.
Directions
From I-81 (Heading North or South). Turn south onto I-581. Proceed to Exit 6 (Elm Avenue, Vinton) and turn east onto Elm Avenue. At the second light turn south on 9th Street. At the top of the hill, bear left onto Penmar Avenue. The house is in the park on the left.
From U.S. Rte. 220 (Heading North). Take the Elm Avenue exit and turn east onto Elm Avenue. At the first light turn south on 9th Street. At the top of the hill bear left onto Penmar Avenue. The house is in the park on the left.
From U.S. Rte. 460 (Heading West). Turn south on to I-581. Proceed to Exit 6 (Elm Avenue, Vinton) and turn east to Elm Avenue. At the second light, turn south onto 9th Street. At the top of the hill bear left onto Penmar Avenue. The house is in the park on the left.
