The Northern Regional Preservation Office region includes the counties of: Arlington, Augusta, Bath, Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Frederick, Highland, King George, Loudoun, Madison, Orange, Page, Prince William, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Warren. Also included are the cities of: Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Harrisonburg, Manassas, Manassas Park, Staunton, Waynesboro, and Winchester.

Directions to the Northern Regional Preservation
Office (The Steele House) from I-81, Exit 307:
From I-81 Northbound: Turn left at the exit ramp light; take the
overpass into the Town of Stephens City on Fairfax Street. At the Main
Street (U.S. Rte 11) light, turn right and proceed north on Main Street
(U.S. Rte 11). The Northern Regional Preservation Office (The Steele
House) is located at 5357 Main Street, on your left at the end of the
block before you reach Martin Street.
From I-81 Southbound: Turn right at the exit ramp light, and proceed into the Town of Stephens City on Fairfax Street. At the Main Street (U.S. Rte 11) light, turn right and proceed north on Main Street (U.S. Rte 11). The Northern Regional Preservation Office (The Steele House) is located on your left at the end of the block at 5357 Main Street before you reach Martin Street.
