The Tidewater Regional Preservation Office region includes the counties of: Accomack, Essex, Gloucester, Greensville, Isle of Wight, James City, King and Queen, King William, Lancaster, Matthews, Middlesex, Northampton, Northumberland, Richmond, Southampton, Surry, Sussex, Westmoreland, and York. Also included are the cities of: Chesapeake, Emporia, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Williamsburg.

The Tidewater Regional Preservation Office is located on the second floor of the 1884 Warwick Courthouse in Newport News.
From I-64 (Heading East or West). At exit 250A, take Ramp onto SR-105 [Fort Eustis Blvd] towards VA-105 / FT Eustis Blvd / FT Eustis. Go for one mile and take ramp onto US-60 [Warwick Blvd] towards US-60. Go for 3.5 miles and Turn (South-West) onto Old Courthouse Way. Arrive 14415 Old Courthouse Way, Newport News, VA 23608.
