Joseph Dye Lahendro (Jody) is Historical Architect for the University of Virginia, Facilities Planning & Construction.  Drawing on his expertise in architecture, building forensics and treatment, at the University Jody oversees a preservation team that is managing some 30 projects, including renovations to McKim, Mead & White's Garrett Hall, adaptive reuse of Fiske Kimball's Rugby Faculty Apartments, rehabilitation of Pavilion II, and the exterior restoration of Pavilion X.  Previously he was for 18 years principal of a noted Virginia architectural practice specializing in historic preservation. Jody received his Bachelor's of Architecture from Virginia Tech and Master's of Architectural History from the University of Virginia. He currently serves on the board of directors for Agecroft Hall and the Thomas Jefferson Chapter of the APVA, as well as the advisory boards of the Tusculum Institute and Battersea in Petersburg.
