Ms. Ora McCoy, of Appomattox, is currently serving as State Legislative Chair and State Retiree President for the National League of Postmasters. She remains a Philatelist, though retired from the United States Postal Service after 34 years of service.  She is also project manager of Eaheart Industrial Service, a family owned business.  Ms. McCoy has been involved in creating the Carver-Price Legacy Museum and Educational Complex, as well as part of the Appomattox Historical Trail, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Carver-Price Alumni Association. She served eight years on the Appomattox County School Board, and works in many ways to educate the public and give back to the community that raised her.
