Other Restored Spaces.

Prompted by a hint of original stencil lettering on this vault door—the entrance to the Deeds and Records Room—a volunteer removed an over layer of paint to reveal the manufacturer's name and city. The recently-founded, state-supported New College Institute is housed in the courthouse's west wing. (The college also makes use of three other historic buildings in the Martinsville Downtown Historic District.)
