Vale School Teachers.

After it was established, Vale School played an integral part in the growth of the local community. As a free public school, it had replaced two nearby private or "field" schools run by prominent local farmers when it was constructed. It offered an opportunity for all the community’s white children (reflecting the era's segregation) to receive an education.
