Long associated with the Cole family, Enniscorthy boasted an important 1850 Greek Revival mansion and an outstanding collection of early outbuildings and farm buildings, many of which predated the house. The property lost its landmark designation in 1997 because of the removal of all the ancillary structures and an extensive architectural modification of the mansion.
