One of eastern Virginia’s rare examples of a center-chimney vernacular house, Richmond View dated from around 1803 and was named for its view of the distant city of Richmond. The house was dismantled around 1994 and rebuilt in Charles City County.
Many properties listed in the registers are private dwellings and are not open to the public, however many are visible from the public right-of-way. Please be respectful of owner privacy.
