Dating mainly from the second quarter of the 19th century, the Elijah Murdock House exhibited many features characteristics of the vernacular traditions of the region. The hall-parlor dwelling combined log and frame construction with stone chimneys. The Elijah Murdock Farm house was listed in the registers under the Prehistoric and Historic Resources of Montgomery County MPD.
