Located in the community of Green Bay in southeastern Prince Edward County, the historic Green Bay School is a two-story brick building with Colonial Revival and Classical Revival features constructed in 1915. Built as a consolidated elementary and high school for the surrounding area, the school served the educational needs of the area’s White student population and functioned as a community center, hosting plays, movies, meetings, and other community events. The building features Colonial and Classical Revival styles, which were popular for school buildings at the time. The Green Bay School closed in 1945, after the high school department moved out of the building.
